MertonVision is a local sight loss charity, based in Colliers Wood. We are the only sight loss charity in the borough of Merton, and we are dedicated to delivering the best possible services to blind and partially sighted people. Our focus is on giving you the tools and support you need to live life as independently as possible. Within the Merton Borough we have helped 250 new visually impaired clients per year for the last 25 years.

What we do

We tackle the problem that many people with learning disabilities leave school with limited life skills and as a result poor life chances. This often leads to isolation and being marginalised. Our projects start working with young people in community settings from the age of 11 onwards, to build their social skills, confidence, independence and ultimately their employability. At the same time we are supporting families and carers with respite. The same team of staff assist young people on their journey through childhood into adulthood.
