If not now when?

With the latest technology, accessibility tools and UK Government Access to Work support, there’s never been a better time for a blind or partially sighted person to enter or re-enter the job market. Employment offers a host of benefits, including financial independence, a sense of purpose, social connections, and the opportunity to contribute to society. For many, it also provides a platform to showcase their skills and talents, breaking down stereotypes and changing perceptions.

One of our students shared a touching story: “For the first time, I was able to treat my dad to dinner at a fancy restaurant with money I had earned. Seeing his tears of pride and joy made me realize how much my independence meant, not just to me, but to my family as well.” This sentiment encapsulates the profound impact that employment can have on both the individual and their loved ones.

At Blind Ambition, we are committed to empowering blind and partially sighted individuals to achieve their full potential in the workplace, providing the support and training needed to succeed.
